A Virginia native, Cameron is the youngest of seven children. His father was a well-respected attorney in Danville, Virginia and his mother a homemaker devoted to Cameron and his siblings. “My parents’ motto was to excel and make something of yourself,” he remembers, “so we were all driven to achieve.” All of his siblings are accomplished professionals, and after Cameron earned his bachelor’s degree from Tulane University he also embarked upon a long and successful career—in banking and finance—rising from a management trainee to the position of Vice President. As busy as he was in his career, Cameron still found time to serve his community, most notably as the president of his local Kiwanis Club and as his church’s trusted treasurer for eight years in Danville, VA. In each case, Cameron rose to the task at hand, overcoming all obstacles to get the results he wanted.
